Videocast: Rain Returns Tomorrow Night
well, happy friday everyone. Hopefully you are enjoying the kickoff to the weekend. Here’s *** look at live, excuse me, Ice on main. This was just before noon. Today. Looks like *** lot of folks out there enjoying themselves and what *** pleasant day. We had some soaking rainfall this morning, but that has come to an end. Now we’re looking at rainfall returning tomorrow night through early sunday morning. Let’s look ahead to next week. We’ve got slightly warmer than average temperatures. That Good news. Right? The average by the way is 60°, so we should be just above that and also possibly slightly wetter than average as well. Also good news. We have that rainfall earlier today. Now the cold front is pushing through it will continue to push through this afternoon. So you might see *** very isolated shower or two, but for the most part, most of that heavy rain, in fact it’s gone. So just *** few isolated showers here or there. As we go throughout the day, more clouds than anything. By tonight we’re looking at partly cloudy skies that sets the stage for *** very nice start to your saturday. Might even see some sunshine early tomorrow. It’s gonna be *** beautiful start to the day. But then we’ve got another system heading our way that’s gonna bring in some more rain. So as we go into tomorrow afternoon, right around noon when the Palmetto Bowl kicks off, we’re looking at mostly cloudy skies and then as we head into tomorrow night after seven or eight o’clock. I do think we’ll begin to see some of those spotty showers arrive ahead of round to our next system. Now the heaviest rain with this one will actually come after midnight, early sunday morning, here’s two a.m. So hopefully many of us will be sleeping or maybe heading to bed. But look at this four a.m. More rounds of widespread heavy rainfall. Here’s *** look at six o’clock in the morning sunday morning. So this is the kind of rain that comes down really, really heavily. You’ll probably hear it on your window or hear it on your roof, looks like finally out of here by eight or nine o’clock sunday morning and then the rest of sunday’s nice, might even clear out and get some sunshine, making it for *** pretty mild day. So not *** washout but good soaking rain again. So as we go throughout the next couple of days, here we go mid sixties by sunday, heading into next week. We’re looking at temperatures in the low to mid sixties with our next best chance of widespread rain after tomorrow night and sunday. The next chance comes on Wednesday.
