Heavy rain moves in across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia



Hi everyone, I’m tracking *** severe weather outbreak back to the west this afternoon, going into the evening hours and unfortunately this is *** nighttime severe weather outbreak with tornadoes back through Tennessee parts of Alabama into Mississippi even Louisiana at risk for tornadoes thankfully for us here at home, this system weakened significantly by the time it arrives here, there’s *** lot of storm fuel back toward the west and *** lot of ingredients for tornadoes, especially over Mississippi tonight, 12 midnight all the way through four or am. This area could be dealing with tornado risks for us here at home are instability not that great. So we don’t have the atmosphere to give us severe weather, but we will get some rumbles of thunder in some heavy rainfall that rolls in tonight and in the early parts of tomorrow morning. When you wake up, we’ll be dealing with rain heavy at times, temperatures in the low to mid fifties and as we look hour by hour tomorrow, this is really just an early morning event. Most of the day will feature some sunshine and windy conditions. It will also be *** very mild day well hr high near one o’clock, but then the cooler air starts to spill in and it’ll be *** chilly evening in the Asheville Hendersonville area. Some early morning heavy rainfall, *** few rumbles of thunder then getting colder as the day goes on in the mountains where your high temperature is really early in the morning, giving way to cooler conditions as we go hour by hour tomorrow, noticed by the afternoon hours that cold air has made it into the mountains, will reach *** high of about 70 degrees tomorrow before that cold air moves in here is brand new timing from our computer models. It shows that heavy rain arriving in the mountains by about 11 o’clock and then after midnight forests in the upstate. By 1 30 we’re rocking and rolling with heavy rainfall across much of the area. This rain will be very heavy at 3:34:05 a.m. Parella will be tracking this. So make sure you wake up and watch tomorrow morning six a.m. Seven ***. M. Very heavy rainfall, but by eight a.m. Nine ***. M. This is pushing out of our area and we’ll have lingering showers giving way to clear skies by the afternoon. Hours rainfall potential through the end of this system, *** quick one inch too, maybe even more under some of those thunderstorms as we get through early on Wednesday morning, looking at the four day, we’ve got the rain early in the morning, giving way to windy conditions 67 for *** high, much cooler on thursday. As we’ll see some sunshine and low to mid fifties, clouds build on saturday 62 as we turn milder and then rain chances stay with us off and on and light in nature, sunday going into early next week and mild in the low to mid sixties western north Carolina. Same story turning clear and cold low of 25 tomorrow night up to 51 on thursday.

Heavy rain is approaching the area and will become widespread late Tuesday evening. Rain will be the heaviest from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Continued heavy rain along with a few thunderstorms are likely overnight and into the early morning Wednesday.At this point, it looks to be a good soaking rain, with most models showing about one inch on average.Some localized spots could receive higher amounts. Skies should clear out Wednesday by mid-morning. It will be very windy and mild with highs in the upper 60s before the cold air arrives.Thursday morning starts off freezing in most areas, with daytime highs in the 50s.Friday morning will be even colder.
