A Cliffs home has broken a record for the highest-selling property ever in the group of seven luxury communities in North and South Carolina.The home, which even has a name, The Perch, located in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, in Arden, North Carolina, recently sold for $6.7 million, according to Rachel Broadbent, with Walnut Cove Realty.”The sale represents the most expensive closing of a single-family residence in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, and it is also within the top five highest residential closings in Buncombe County,” Broadbent said.To see photos of the home, click here.The modern 7,110 square-foot, mountaintop home at 8 Deer Grass Court, on Chestnut Mountain, with four bedroom, four bathrooms and two half-baths, was featured in Carolina Home + Garden magazine.Broadbent called it an “architectural wonder,” and described it like this:”Intentionally constructed to be immersive with the natural landscape, the home is filled with connecting large windows, using slender steel architecture to intentionally create a seamless visual experience.
