Lets Explore Charleston South Carolina

Lets Explore Charleston South Carolina – come follow the moon with Doug, Cathy and Maggie Mae as we explore the beautiful historic city of Charleston SC. There’s so much to see and do in “Charles town”, as it was known before being incorporated as Charleston. We start at the visitors center, then move on to Wragg Mall just across the street. Only a couple of blocks away is the Charleston Museum, the oldest museum in the United States, with its replica of the Civil War Submarine, the Hunley, on display. There are many historic churches throughout the city, as well as parks on the waterfront and harbor, with fountains, memorials and monuments, like the Holocaust memorial. We’ll check out the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, as well as the City Market. We’ll take you to the Circular Church and Cemetery, to Rainbow Row, to lunch at Ru Rus Tacos and Tequila, and to Sullivans Island to see the lighthouse and Fort Moultrie.

Thousand Trails – Trails Collection – Encore Parks – We work exclusively with Sharon and Warren Lewis, Membership Specialists for Thousand Trails. If you’re interested in more information on a Camping Pass, or a Membership, please contact them at (772) 217-1851 or (804) 366-0798 or by email at sharon_lewis@equitylifestyles.com or warren_lewis@equitylifestyles.com . Please let them know you found out about them from Doug and Cathy from Follow the Moon – we do receive a small commission for this which helps support the channel, and you will receive the best possible service from them.

Passport America – If saving 50% off the regular night rate at hundreds of campgrounds sounds interesting to you, then consider joining Passport America. You can get all of the information at www.PassportAmerica.com/join – and if you select Passport America Ambassador in the referral dropdown and use our code moon3 you’ll not only receive the best deal, but we receive a small commission back to help support the channel.

Coast to Coast – We like the Coast to Coast membership program because it covers different areas of the country that some of the other programs don’t cover. Most stays are $10. per night, and membership costs are low. Beware of the hidden fee – most C2C memberships charge the annual “maintenance” fee PLUS a home park fee which can be HUNDREDS of dollars EVERY YEAR – that’s why we work exclusively with Phillip Van Benthuysen, as he offers the Coast to Coast membership WITHOUT a Home Park Fee! That saves you LOTS of money EVERY year. He can be reached at (501) 723-8212 or at GoldenPondRVPark@gmail.com . And for the best deal, let him know that Doug and Cathy from Follow the Moon sent you – it also gives us a small commission that helps to support the channel.
