This is a terrific little device that can be used to light candles, BBQ, stovetop burners, campfires, wood, paper, fireworks, and many other things, and it’s easy to use. It’s powered by internal rechargeable batteries, and it’s charged by a standard USB cable – the one that charges your android phone. It operates quietly and flawlessly well. It is replacing all my butane lighters that always are a bother – yes this device is all electric, and butane free.

A very clever design requiring no fuel (like butane) and very reliable. Have used it to light paper for starting bonfires and barbeque as well as candles (where it can reach way down deep inside holder). Much better than the aforementioned option and long matches/sticks of wood, etc. The “spark” is so hot it immediately ignites whatever you want. Being rechargeable via USB charger is a big plus. Highly recommend!

I wondered how well this would work when I ordered it, but figured it was worth a try for the price…and I LOVE IT! It’s worked perfectly since I got it, and the charge has held for awhile. Granted, I don’t burn candles daily, but I’ve yet to have to recharge it since I got it a good month ago. Just a super cool gadget!
