Bath and Body Works Sale Schedule & When to Stock-Up

Here’s the scoop on the Bath & Body Works sale schedule year-round so you never miss a candle on sale again! (Or anything else for that matter)…

Bath & Body Works biggest sales happen in June and December during their Semi-Annual Sale.

Every end of December through January and June through July, Bath & Body Works has its amazing Semi-Annual Sales which is undoubtedly the best time to shop. You’ll see better than Black Friday sales at this event. You’ll save up to 75% OFF select items so they can make room for new inventory. Last year, we saw 3-wick candles back down to under $10 each.

Each Semi-Annual Sale lasts for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Historically, the winter sale starts the day after Christmas and runs through January ending on a Sunday. During the summer, sales begin around the second week of June and run through early July and have also always ended on a Sunday. You can even expect to see free shipping promo codes over the 4th of July weekend which is really convenient if you plan to shop online. Last year, the sale ended on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022.

Just keep in mind that online sales tend to be structured differently and you’ll instead see different sales each day such as BOGO free or money off your purchase.

However, if you’re shopping in-store, be sure to check your mailbox as they often send out coupons before both sales and you can stack any valid coupons you have, unlike online shopping!

Candle Day in December is the best time to stock up BIG TIME on 3-wick candles. 

This will become your favorite day to shop if you love Bath and Body Works candles! In early December, Bath and Body Works has its epic Candle Day Sale. Bath & Body Works Candle Day 2023 will be held Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd!

In December of 2022, we saw one of the lowest prices ever on 3-wick candles – just $9.95 each! And we’ve heard this year the 3-wick candles may be priced at $9.95 again! 😱

Even sweeter, Bath and Body Works sends out various mailer coupons before Candle Day that often give you the ability to stock up on even more affordable B&BW goodies. Note that valid coupons are stackable in-store too! Yes, it’s true! 😱

This year, our mailer coupons included deals like $10 off any $35 purchase, a FREE full-size body care gift, a Holiday Wonder Gift Set ($40 value) with any $40 Purchase and more! If you’re not able to shop in-store on this special day, they usually release the sale online, too, but you’ll have to pay to ship.

Buy 3, get 3 FREE during their Black Friday sales, and get up to 40% OFF sitewide for Cyber Monday come November! 

Bath and Body Works offers fantastic bargains during their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. This year, Bath & Body Works hosted their Black Friday Sale and offered up their Buy 3 Get 3 sale and $10 off $40 purchases. For Cyber Monday you could score 40% OFF sitewide!

Here are some other Bath and Body Works savings tips to keep in mind:

1. Shop during the big sales and go back for a price adjustment later. 

We know you don’t want to miss out on your favorite scents, so shop early and go back later to possibly get some money credited back to you. Bath & Body Works will make a one-time price adjustment from the original selling price to the current selling price if a purchase you made becomes eligible for a promotion, sale price, or special offer within 14 days of your original purchase.

According to their site Flash Sales, select promotions lasting 48 hours or less, Candle Day event pricing and email offers are not eligible for price adjustments. For all other price adjustments on an online purchase, call them at 1-800-756-5005. For in-store purchases, bring the original receipt to one of the stores so they can adjust.

2. Score free wrapping essentials in-store to save on gifts for this year.

You can score completely free essentials for wrapping your candles, full-size products, Wallflowers, and everything else in between. Look for a clear bin like the one pictured above and you’ll have yourself some effortless freebies! 👏🏻

3. Shop during the final day or two of their biggest sales. 

Historically, you can expect to see the very best and lowest prices during all of the Bath and Body Works sale schedules if you’re shopping online. While every year will vary, you can expect the lowest prices during the targeted end dates. Remember the end date typically falls on a Sunday during the Semi-Annual Sales.
