This super convenient trash can has a motion sensor that opens the lid automatically! Simply wave your hand above the sensor at the front of the lid and, viola! It opens automatically. It’s simple enough for kids to use, too! You’ll never need to worry about having your hands full and struggling with a pesky lid again.
Even better, it has an air vent on the back of the trash can for easier removal of full trash bags! Note that the trash can uses 4-AA batteries, not included. Plus, its durable hard plastic design features flat sides so it can be placed against a wall or cabinet without taking up a lot of space.

I love this trash can! I’m a big crafter and do it yourselfer and my hands always have paint or glue on them. With this trash can I no longer have to touch the lid and get it dirty. With just a quick wave it opens all the way and it has a large opening for all sizes of trash. The black sleek design fits in perfectly with my decor. It’s super easy to install the batteries in the case under the lid. The entire lid comes completely off so it’s easy to change the bag. I’ve had many stainless steel trash cans that cost a lot of money and look like c*** after a few years. I like that this can is plastic. Nice quality with a heavy lid that fits tight in the bag fits nice and tight inside and has a release hole in the back to let air out, or if the bag is too big, it can be pushed into the hole to pull tight so the lid will fit correctly.
This is one of those products that you get and wonder how you’ve managed to live without one. The trash can itself is very simple and unobtrusive. I fits a 13 gallon kitchen bag perfectly. It will remain open while your hand is above it. It is also completely silent which was not the case with a former trash can of ours that sounded like a robot. I like it a lot and can easily recommend it!
