The year’s hottest stock is regaining its momentum.
Chipmaker Nvidia was up more than 1% in afternoon trading. That puts the stock on pace for a ninth consecutive session of gains. Shares are up nearly 20% over that period and have more than tripled so far this year, making them the top performer in the S&P 500.
Nvidia was recently changing hands at about $490 per share, not far from the all-time closing high of $493.55 set Aug. 31.
